GmemberKills 10.15.14	This game is really fucking intrigued me but after seeing mixed reviews for it I'm hesitant on it, hopefully people on here will have good things to say about it.
ConcubinaryCode 10.15.14	The game actually captures that survival horror feel that mikami promised. Resources scarce. Enemies are deadly. Headshots are glorious. The locale feels very ominous and pulls you in easily. However the game is rendered in letterbox, theres a limited sprint so its hard to run away when you run out of ammo, and the main character says shit a lot and thats about as far as his character goes.Im still very early in but as far as first impressions go thats what I think.

DarkSideOfLucca 10.15.14	Just stopped playing now for the night, agreed with everything that ConcubinaryCode. So far this is everything that was promised, my only problem is that the load time is a bit longer than I would like but that's really a very minor complaint. It's very creative in how horrifying it is and it's refreshing to play a game where I actually have to figure out what to do with such a lack of ammo, making it a true survival horror game.
FruityCatOfDoom 10.15.14	Awesome list, just got 6 recently and have been loving it. Also been meaning to check out Suffocations discography. The Evil Within is fantastic, I just complete the first two chapters and had to leave but I'm eager to get back to it.
DarkSideOfLucca 10.15.14	6 is probably my favorite album of the year, and Suffocation is one of my favorite death metal bands of all time. Let me know how you like them! And I hear ya. I left during my lunch break today to pick it up, the remaining 5 hours of work sucked. I'm dreading working tomorrow as well because I'd rather just play The Evil Within all day. Fuck, I miss college.

DarkSideOfLucca 10.15.14	Not up to that yet because I had a responsibility to smoke and watch Sons of Anarchy (which kind of sucks now, but it's the last season). 6 is like classic death and thrash metal, with the production and all, with a tad bit of black metal. It doesn't even sound like it was released in this decade, but in the best way.
Let 10.15.14	It's like psychedelic death metal with excellent production, amazing riffs, fantastic acoustic tracks, and maniacal vocals.
Let 10.15.14	And Towards a Black Sky is one of the greatest metal songs of the year.

BarryMckokiner 10.15.14	I'm debating whether to get this or Alien Isolation. I was leaning towards Isolation since I'm a huge Alien fan but after seeing some gameplay of this I'm not sure anymore.
DarkSideOfLucca 10.15.14	It was a tough call for me too. Alien is my favorite movie of all time but Silent Hill 2 and Resident Evil 2 and 4 are my favorite horror games. I went with Evil Within because the reviews were generally more in agreement that it was more favorable, whereas Alien Isolation had some mixed reviews. Still excited to eventually pick that one up as well, though.

EvoHavok 10.15.14	Not one for horror games, but this one really picked my interest. The PC port seems to be shoddy, but hope it'll run somehow ok.
FruityCatOfDoom 10.15.14	Silent Hill 2 and the Resident Evil Remake for Gamecube are my favorite horror games. No game has made me as tense and uncomfortable as the first two Silent Hill games have. I would love for Resident Evil 2 to get the same remake treatment that the original did. Do you know about the rerelease of the RE Remake early next year?
adace1 10.15.14	This game is awesome. Fun gameplay, extremely creepy atmosphere, and tough bosses. I played Alien Isolation last week and didn't like it even half as much as this game. Sweet list btw.
Brabiz 10.17.14	I'm about 8 hours in and it's fantastic. The atmosphere is NUTS but the lack of ammo becomes a problem when the game throws undless enemies at you... I wish they had less enemies and kept the ammo scarce. But whatever, a lot of the environmental ideas remind me of Silent Hill. Especially when they have corpses obscured by being in a bag or something so you're like "what even is this?"

Veldin 10.17.14	Aww, I'm loving this game. Currently on Chapter 7 and I would say this is definitely one of the best (survival) horror games of all time. It does have it's issues (major texture pop-in on PS3), but it tickles that part of my brain that admires horror and violence.
Veldin 10.17.14	Don't get Alien Isolation over this, silly. AI is good, especially compared to Gearbox's iteration a couple years ago, but The Evil Within should not be overlooked. And for all fans of METAL, y'all have to get Dark Souls 2 /m
ConcubinaryCode 10.18.14	Just beat the game. It was a wild ride from start to finish.definitely a great game and I'm already wanted to start new game plus. The game builds up nicely and gets more tense and crazy as it progresses. My only quips are that the final "boss" is basically a set piece and the protagonist isnt really expanded upon. The story revolves around the mind of your opponent so as you push on you get a lot of info on whats going on with him and very little on anyone else.
