We must be listening to different albums here. I don't hear any lyrical maturity in Before I Forget or Duality, and the band took a much more radio-friendly direction than they previously had. Half of the album has no edge

Mercy 10.10.14	MFKR is just bad in my opinion.
DarkSideOfLucca 10.10.14	MFKR is mostly just an underdeveloped self titled album, which is why I didn't include it. And yeah, his lyrics may not have been Meshuggah in Vol. 3 or anything but they really weren't nearly as atrocious as any other Slipknot album. Songs like Danger, The Virus Of Life, Vermillion, etc expanded their sound in a way no other album did.

DarkSideOfLucca 10.10.14	I don't mind the production on 5 that much. It's just the jarring differences between and within most tracks.
