Hearing Therapy

Starting a self applied therapy sessions with pink noise to retrain my ears and hopefully recover a bit from hyper sensibility (hyperacusis). This crap started with tinnitus but slowly I've grown more sensitive to quite a large number of noises, in the past few months the situation got progressively worse and worse with each sound being either uncomfortable or painful, imagine having someone sticking a knife in your ear. Now I'm at a point where, sometimes, even my own voice screws me over. The only method of therapy is prolonged sessions of pink noise or other similar sounds that retrain your hearing sensitivity, basically bringing your tolerance levels back to decent values, shame there are no specialists on this subject here in Portugal so I'm playing all my cards. Won't be listening to allot of music right now, but wish me luck.
