It always feels weird listening to you own work, and I usually hate all the songs I've created, but I really do enjoy listening to this album. So yes it does rule

Judio! 04.27.14	Not at all. Godspeed are one of my favorite bands but I doubt id be able to replicate them in any way. Still, thanks for checking!

The one I uploaded lacks the orchestration the revised version had and is way too soft. Uploading the new one right now and getting rid of the version I had before. I you guys could download the new one and get rid of the old, quiet version, I would be forever in your debt. Sorry about this once again.

Funeralopolis 04.27.14	I've listened to this album about 3 times today, 4 in total. I might write a review of this once I let it sink in but these are my impressions so far: -has a really bizarre atmosphere that makes you think, it is actively engaging with all of the weird noises it has to offer -Permanent Shadows is easily the best track -top 5 would be: permanent shadows, judgement and bliss, the empire in ruins, teary eye of the storm and ascend the storm - There is a lot of diversity on this album, I really dig the harsh thudding, industrial drums I think they work really well with the music. Sigur Ros pulled off harsh drums really well on their last album and I hope that this is a thing we'll get to see more often with post-rock bands. -The horn or whatever section on Long Walk Home is so damn punishing in maybe a good way, who would have thought horns could be so brutal? Cons: -not all ideas feel fleshed out, for an ambient/ post-rock album it jumps around A LOT. Clearly you guys had a lot of ideas that you wanted to put into this album but it is sometimes distracting how much the ideas jump around. -Some songs really use head space very effectively while others leave a lot to be desired. Permanent Shadows and Teary Eye are probably the best in this aspect. -Some of the song writing is questionable on here, it sometimes feels like layers are very arbitrarily peeled away or added without much point to it. overall I really enjoy this record but it does have some noticeably frustrating flaws imo. Still though this album is more entertaining than most I've heard in the genre would probably give a 3.8/5
