03.26.08 | Get Brave Murder Day from Katatonia. It's heavier and more doom. Akerfeldt from Opeth screams on it. Best album from Katatonia in my opinion. For more doom, get Epicicus Doomicus Metallicus from Candlemass and maybe check out some Saint Vitus. 1 is the only record from them I have but I love it. Also for more recent times, get the new Rwake and Daylight Dies. |

03.26.08 | Some of the metallers here dislike Swallow The Sun but personally I think they're pretty solid but not one of my fav's. The Morning That Never Came is their best so get it and if you like Doom with female vocals countering the growls than check out Draconian. Their new album is phenominal. |
