Favorite Movie And Book Moments

Just finished reading The Great Gatsby to figure out that I hate the book even more then I did with my first read. But yeah there's still those moments in books and movies that are just incredible, like the few listed below. Comment your favs as well if you want.
10Am I just a Clockwork Orange?- A Clockwork Orange

As the effects of the treatment on Alex are being horifficly forshadowed, Alex relates himself to a Clockwork Orange. Everyone in the room condemns him.
9Ending- Six Sense

A powerful and quite gripping plot twist that M. night Shamylan was actually capable of writing for once, I won't spoil the suprise for people who still want to watch the movie. But it is just so emotionally correct that I needed to put it on here somewhere.
8We're all Bokononists- Cats Cradle

As a religion banned on the island of San Lorenzo, believing Bokononism is punishable by death. This turns into pure comedy when later in the book, it is revealed that everyone on the island is a Bokononist.
7Deep Sleep- The Elephant Man

After finally finishing his grand alarm clock, John Merrik sits down on his bed and thinks for a second, before removing the pillows that keep him sleeping upwards. He then falls asleep laying down, feeling like a normal human for the first time in his life before his tumor kills him in his sleep.
6Frienemies- Fox and the Hound

A movie that begins slightly charming and family friendly transforms into a tale of predudice when the dog is forced to hunt down his childhood best friend and kill him. A magnificent scene that reflects what growing up can do to a man.
5Clare Quilty's grand finale-Lolita

Clare Quilty is an insane man. He was so good at talking to Humpert at gunpoint that the reader will start to ponder who the real monster is. Hell, even when being shot like 7 times he still runs all over the place shouting critical aqcusations.
4Solano's Death- The Godfather

I'm a sucker for classics, including this scene in which Micheal Corleone kills a mob ringleader and police cheif in order to avenge his fathers attempted murder. The whole scene is built up perfectly, and there is thick tension all the way up until the conclusion.
3Rosebud- Citizen Kane

Rosebud is actually the childhood sled of Kane. Kane's last words depict the last time in which he was happy, a fantastic ending to an incredible film.
2Molly Bloom's Soliloquy- Ulysses

One of the most haunting and detailed portraits of a woman's thoughts ever put on paper. Four lengthy sentences that are filled with some of my favorite writing ever.
1"Hey Boo." - To Kill A Mockingbird

After being saved by a shadowy figure from the rampant Bob Ewell, Scout is asked who saved her. She responds by pointing to a dark figure behind a slung open door. The only words said are "hey boo." And what follows is one of the most beautiful literary/film moments of all time.
