Albums I've Listened To This Week
These are the albums I've listened to this week, in the order that I listened to them. There are some great ones. |
| 1 | | Jedi Mind Tricks The Psycho-Social
I love old school JMT, when they rapped about more broad and interesting subjects. |
| 2 | | The Contortionist Exoplanet
This album was such a breath of fresh air. I'm glad these guys are the future of Progressive/Technical Death Metal. |
| 3 | | The Black Dahlia Murder Unhallowed
The Black Dahlia Murder is completely unrelenting throughout this entire album, and it really set the tone for them. |
| 4 | | Make Them Suffer Neverbloom
I had never heard Symphonic Deathcore before this, so it was a breath of fresh air, as well as being pretty good. |
| 5 | | Opeth Orchid
Now I understand why everyone loves Opeth, because these guys are great! |
| 6 | | Arctic Monkeys Whatever People Say I Am...
A little different than what I usually listen to, but by God this album was amazing! It's a personal favorite of mine already. |
| 7 | | Explosions In The Sky How Strange, Innocence
This album has some great crescendos in it, as well as having that atmospheric greatness that every post-rock band needs. |
| 8 | | Structures All Of The Above
These guys know how to play their instruments, that's for sure. Their sound is weird, but fun at the same time. |
| 9 | | The Faceless Planetary Duality
The Faceless have some extremely well-thought-out songs on this record, but it's so darn short. If it was longer, it would be incredible. |
| 10 | | Iced Earth Night of the Stormrider
This is Iced Earth back when they were thrashy, but you can see how they progressed into Power Metal from this album. Great stuff! |
