06.29.13 | My wife was using the D7000 but you're about $200 shy of it. You could go used but you'll want to go through a dealer that can put some guarantee behind it. The cameras need to really be taken care of. The lenses are like guns, you can use them all you want and they never really devalue as long as they are taken care of. |

06.29.13 | All that really matters is that you do your homework on no matter what you do. Hit up the manufacturers site, read reviews. Cameras are very high profile once you really get into it. There is a shit ton to learn. One small tip, don't go cheap on memory, get the expensive shit which these days is still cheap (roughly a buck a gb).
