Metallicanomy

The albums of Metallica in order of preference.
9 Metallica
St. Anger

Sucks.
8Metallica
Reload

Sucks.
7Metallica
Load

Ain't My Bitch is an okay track, but I really don't care for the rest.
6Metallica
Death Magnetic

Death Magnetic does have elements that trace back to the band's first
five records. But it feels rather formulaic, and I personally got only
about halfway through it.
5Metallica
...And Justice For All

This album has a similar problem to MoP: repetitiveness. While there
are memorable moments on here, the album is all in all a tough listen.
Best song: One
4Metallica
Metallica

It was close between this and AJFA, but I'll put this higher on account of
catchy songs. Yes, it's not the band's most inspired effort, but there are
good moments. Best song: Nothing Else Matters
3Metallica
Master of Puppets

Considered as the band's most influential record. MoP has great songs,
but in my view it is too repetitive and gets old quickly. Hence the third
place spot. Best song: Master of Puppets
2Metallica
Kill 'Em All

Metallica's debut is raw and agressive. It also has some of the best riffs
the band created. It misses the top spot due to the production quality.
But second best isn't too bad. Best song: Seek and Destroy
1Metallica
Ride the Lightning

Ride the Lightning is easily Metallica's finest hour. This album has a
chilling atmosphere, use of acoustic passages, and a highly inspired
performance. The production is also excellent. The band will never be
ble to top this. Best song: Creeping Death
