Kingdok's 2012

Didn't hear a massive amount of albums this year, but did hear some fantastic ones. Bring on rrr2013 with Exit_International, Ginger Wildheart's Mutation project and hopefully more rMarmozets!
1Therapy?
A Brief Crack Of Light

My favourite band, always a dead cert, but it is also for me as good as some of
their best albums. Get Your Dead Hand is a nailed-on classic!
2Cattle Decapitation
Monolith of Inhumanity

Cattle Decap ascend towards Deathgrind royalty with a huge development in making themselves distinctive and stand-out from the rest of the pack. Finding variety in sound and substance sets them up for big things to come...
3El-Creepo!
Aloha

Dark, creepy and chilled in equal measure. Best El-Creepo! without a doubt
4Knives Out!
Black Mass Hysteria

Something straight-forward and heavy from the ex-DFD boys, manages to pack in a few surprises to though.
5Future of the Left
The Plot Against Common Sense

Didn't notice this band til this year, love this album even more than Mclusky's.
6Hawk Eyes
Ideas

Took a few listens to sink in, but once it did it just kept growing on me. So many
superb tracks!
7Marmozets
Vexed

Not strictly an album, but another new band to me in 2012 that totally blew me away.
8Fear Factory
The Industrialist

Not much of a step forward from Mechanize, but confirmation that FF mean business again. Starting to feel like they are building up to another Demanufacture-sized release, hopefully soon!
9BATS
The Sleep of Reason

Love the first half, and the title track is unbelievably good. Quality does fade over the second half for me tho.
10Gaytheist
Stealth Beats

Just my thing, loud punky noise-rock. Straitheists love Gaytheist!
