Albums I Still Haven't Listened To
A list of albums from bands I love that I still haven't listened to yet. Reasons vary from the quality of the album to the revelance of the band. |
18 | | Pink Floyd A Momentary Lapse in Reason
This album sucks. Any Pink Floyd fan knows why I haven't listened to this entire album yet. |
17 | | Red Hot Chili Peppers I'm With You
RHCP is not RHCP without Hillel Slovak or John Frusciante. It was proved once with One Hot Minute, and it was proved again with this album. I do like The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie though, that song is pretty kick-ass. |
16 | | Om God Is Good
I get my Om fix from Variations on a Theme and Conference of the Birds. Pilgrimage was alright, but it wasn't as good as the first two, and it made me grow a little weary of Om. Because of that, I haven't listened to this or Advaitic Songs yet. |
15 | | Beastie Boys The Mix Up
Still haven't given their entirely instrumental album a listen yet. I'm a little bit skeptical. Can't be worse than To the 5 Boroughs. |
14 | | Atheist Jupiter
I think their time was the late 80's, early 90's. It especially shows in how Kelly Shaefer looks like Bret Michaels now. Shame. |
13 | | Opeth Deliverance
I've found it difficult to listen to ALL of Opeth's albums, since most of their songs tend to drag out to 5-10 minutes long. I have still yet to listen to this, Damnation, Orchid and My Arms, Your Hearse. |
12 | | Nile Black Seeds of Vengeance
I much prefer Nile's George Kollias-era albums to In Their Darkened Shrines, Amongst the Catacombs and this album. Just way... better. Don't know how else to put it. |
11 | | Electric Wizard Black Masses
Dopethrone and Come My Fanatics... got most of my attention out of this band, understandably. I still haven't listened to Black Masses, Let Us Prey OR We Live. Too bad I'm not really in a Electric Wizard mindset anymore... |
10 | | Sevendust Animosity
Sevendust used to be all I listened to at one point in my life, but for some reason I always preferred Seasons or Alpha to this album. I should give it a chance though since I heard it's their best. |
9 | | Cannabis Corpse Blunted at Birth
Tube of the Resinated is awesome and I love Beneath Grow Lights to death, but I couldn't get over the terrible production on CC's debut. |
8 | | Obscura Retribution
Obscura without Christian Muenzner or Hannes Grossmann? No thanks. |
7 | | Dying Fetus Stop At Nothing
The first time I tried to listened to this album, I couldn't get over how bland this album sounded to me compared to Reign Supreme or Destroy the Opposition. So other than Schematics, I haven't really given this one a shot yet. |
6 | | Meshuggah Contradictions Collapse
I heard this album wasn't very good, so I've been hesitant to listen to it. I don't really like Fredrik Thordendal's Hetfield-like vocals. |
5 | | Aesop Rock Music For Earthworms
When I started listening to Aesop, I easily got into Bazooka Tooth, None Shall Pass and Labor Days. By the time I was listening to less and less Aesop Rock, I was still super into FCDFaK, Skelethon and Float. Both this album and Appleseed were kind of an afterthought to me. |
4 | | Gorod Neurotripsicks
I downloaded all the Gorod albums at the same time, so this one naturally was listened to the least. Probably the weakest album by Gorod. |
3 | | Tenacious D Rise of the Fenix
Heard it was hilarious, haven't listened to it yet. Since I love the first album, and the second album was pretty good, I should give this a listen. |
2 | | Melvins Lysol
I love me some Stoner Witch and some Houdini, so I have NO CLUE why I haven't listened to Lysol yet. |
1 | | Queens of the Stone Age Queens of the Stone Age
...Why haven't I listened to this album yet?? Shit... |
