DarkSideOfLucca 10.24.12	I couldn't be more grateful for these recs. I don't have any friends in college that listen to the same music as me and all of my friends at home that listen to metal usually just listen to whatever I show them. For me it's amazing and totally out of the ordinary to go on a site where people like mostly all the same music I do and I love being exposed to new stuff as well as rediscover some old stuff that I may have overlooked for whatever reason. For instance, with this list-couldn't handle some of this music when I was younger and liked more generic metal so I just never went back to it. It's cool to be pointed in the right direction. Mad love.

DarkSideOfLucca 10.24.12	Aha yeah, been listening to some Wilco today too, this list is dedicated to the death metal recs though. One day I'll sift through my itunes and make a much longer list that explores other genres as well. I've discovered so much new music from this site that it's hard to keep track. Going back to Wilco though, holy shit that album is amazing. @Viral, 1 is the only one on the list that I haven't FULLY digested yet, but I can feel myself loving it much more with each listen. This may sound like a blah complaint when it comes to death metal, but if I'm being honest it really is the vocals that I am trying to warm up to. They're so unusual.

That sucked more than anything. And I don't believe anyone who says they can understand the lyrics in 1 without a booklet aha. That's okay, I can't understand a single word in Cryptopsy's None So Vile but those are my favorite death metal lyrics ever.
