Ultimate... Um, Just Ultimate.

Since there's so much ultimate lists going on, I figured I'd throw some albums I've been listening to consistently as of late.
1Dethklok
The Dethalbum

Like a reason is even necessary.
2By The End Of Tonight
...in a letter to the sandbox

Because a bit wicked drumming, of touch of metal riffage, a hint of jazzy interludes, and a pinch of relentless insanity sounds awesome. More people need to hear this.
3Porcupine Tree
In Absentia

Most notably The Sound of Muzak, Gravity Eyelids, and Wedding Nails in sequence.
4Portishead
Dummy

Because I haven't really stopped listening to this since I got it.
5Smashing Pumpkins
Zeitgeist

Likely because I saw them recently, but I've since gained much more appreciation for the album, especially Bleeding The Orchid, Starz, and United States.
6Thrice
The Alchemy Index: Vols. I and II...

After the wait it makes sense, though admittedly I'm really enjoying Water especially.
7Agalloch
Ashes Against the Grain

Since I only REALLY gave it a proper listen recently and was greatly impressed.
8Battles
Mirrored

Simply put... Atlas, Leyendecker, Race In and Race Out. I don't know if I'll ever stop listening to this.
9The Blood Brothers
Young Machetes

Because Laser Life is catchy as hell and Giant Swan is gorgeous.
10Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada

Wrenching, tear-inducing, and numbing no matter how many times I listen through.
