Zunou Keisatsu was a highly influential Japanese rock group that first formed in 1970. The group soon garnered massive national
success and acclaim,and have since been considered groundbreaking for their unique blend of psychedelic hard rock and early
punk, along with their signature percussive elements. Zunou Keisatsu were also one of the most prolific bands of their day,
impressively releasing three albums in 1972 and two albums in 1973. After releasing one more album in November of 1974,
“Akutare Kozou”, Zunou Keisatsu ended up disbanding in 1975. The group had temporary reunions from 1990 through 1992 and
from 2001 through 2002, before officially reuniting in 2008 for good.
