Zard was a legendary musical project, led by frontwoman, Izumi Sakai. Throughout its 16-year long career, Zard managed to
sell over 37 million records, which officially made Zard one of Japan's all time best selling artists. The project was officially over
shortly after Sakai tragically passed away from cancer in 2007.
