In the 1980s, Bill Rozar wrote songs inspired by the Wizard of Oz, Jonathan Richman, Halloween, witches and horror movies. These
songs sat ensconced in a cassette tape until 2004 when Bill’s wife, Julie, inspired him to re-record them with Janelle M. Lannan.
A performance group formed in March 2005 in Brooklyn, New York for a performance of “Witches In Bikinis” with one singer and two witch
back-ups at The Slipper Room in the Manhattan’s Lower East Side for a fundraiser. Performances began in October 2005. Their first CD was

The band appeared on the 4th season of the NBC reality show America's Got Talent, although they were eliminated in the audition round.
