United is a progressive/thrash metal band from Japan. Originally formed in 1983 as a Judas Priest cover band, United soon
beganwriting their own material, and, within a decade, became one of the most recognized bands in the underground Japanese
metalscene. Although they haven't had any mainstream success, United are arguably one of the most influential figures in
theJapanese thrash movement.
