Trinity Garden Cartel was a hip hop group from Houston, Texas. First formed in 1989, the group managed to develop one
ofthelargest followings in the Texas underground hip hop circuit by the mid 1990's. The group even had a slight taste
ofnationalsuccess with the release of their second album, 1994's "Don't Blame It On Da Music", which reached number 45 on
theBillboardTop R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
Despite their huge success in the local Houston area, Trinity Garden Cartel ended up disbanding in 2001, after over a

decadeofactivity. In 2008, after several years apart, Trinity Garden Cartel suddenly resumed activities, and in 2009 released
themixtape"Street Life on Wax Volume 1", which was their first original release in nearly a decade. Trinity Garden Cartel
seemedtodisappear once more by 2012, however, and it can be presumed that the group have since disbanded once more. « hide |
