The Street Sliders were a groundbreaking Japanese rock group that were active from 1980 until 2000. Their unique sound that blended elements of rock 'n roll, punk, glam and blues was considered to be quite revolutionary for the time, and it went on to influence a slew of bands throughout the late 80's and early 90's, most notably Blankey Jet City.
