The Candyskins is an influential alternative rock band from England that first formed in 1989. The group had notable success throughout the early 1990's in the UK and the US, and were regarded as one of the first bands to embrace the baggy/madchester style. After releasing only five singles and four original albums, The Candyskins ended up officially disbanding in 2001. The Candyskins reunited for a few shows only in 2007 and 2008 to sold out crowds, before reuniting for good in 2009.
