Tama were a Japanese avant-garde folk band that formed in 1984. Initially associated with the Nagom label (ran by legendary
underground frontman, Kera, of Uchoten), the group broke from the label in 1989, and ended up going major and signing to the
Nippon Crown label in late 1989. Just one year later, the group experienced instant superstardom when their debut single,

2003, after nearly 20 years together as a band. The group were known for their extremely cooky sound and childlike vocals from
