Siakol soon became known for their emotion-driven style, which took influences from alternative, post-punkand hard rock. The group's lyrics also
resonated with the angsty Filipino youth of the 1990's, which further pushed theirpopularity. Although not as huge as they were in the 90's, Siakol's
success remains untarnished and embedded into the pinoymainstream scene.
