Sakura Gakuin ("Cherry Blossom Acadamy") are a Japanese school themed idol group.
Unlike traditional girl supergroups, Sakura Gakuin are known to experiment with not only traditional J-pop, but also various forms of rock and
even Metal (i.e. Babymetal).
Every year the oldest members leave the band after recording one last album with the group and new members enter the group.
To this day Sakura Gakuin have released seven studio albums, each album representing one "nendo" (school year).
