Pale Waves

Pale Waves are an English indie pop band, formed in Manchester, United Kingdom in 2014. It was founded originally as Creek when lead singer and guitarist Heather Baron-Gracie met drummer Ciara Doran whilst attending University in Manchester. Shortly after the band's inception they changed their name to Pale Waves. The band line up is completed by guitarist Hugo Silvani and bassist Charlie Wood. In January 2018 Pale Waves were announced as 5th place winners of the annual BBC Sound of shortlist 2018 edition. In February 2018 the band won the NME Under the Radar award at the NME Awards 2018.
