Northlane have received an extremely positive reception following the release of “Hollow Existence” less than a yearafterforming as aband.Thedebut C.D. has received acclaimfrom a number of different websites all over the world includingtheAustralian website Kill YourStereowhoreviewed the C.D. with a very positive 80/100, claiming that “HollowExistence is ofanadmirable and mature standard, a vitalquality thatisrapidly becoming extinct in most up-and-coming Australian bands”. Northlane have also recently been featured numerous times in a number of magazines including Australia’sleadingalternativemusicmagazineBlunt. They have been given promisingreviews by Blunt and were recently named as one of the“bands tohypein 2011” where theyweredescribed as “an ever-present force to be reckoned with” in Australian music thatare“planning to takethecountry hostage in 2011” 2011hasalready started with a bang for Northlane who have stretched theirpopularity not onlyfrom their home statebut to allcorners of thecountry.Within the first month of the New Year they havealready played tocrowds Victoria, New South Wales and Perth. It should be noted that Northlane have done all of the above on a completely DIY basis, to this day they are labelindependent,self-managed,self-funded and until early 2011 self-booked. Northlane are currently working on their debut full-length release "Discoveries" due out in the second halfof2011 « hide
