Nickey and the Warriors are an influential Japanese punk band. First formed in 1984 under the name Warriors, they ended up changing their name to Nickey and the Warriors by late 1986, which centered around the group's charismatic frontwoman Nickey. Nickey and the Warriors originally split in late 1987, but reunited temporarily from 1990 until 1993. Nickey and the Warriors reunited temporarily from 2002 through 2006, and reunited once more in 2010, and have been active, and remain one of the most legendary and influential female-fronted punk bands in the Japanese punk circuit.
