New Fast Automatic Daffodils (also known as New FADS) were an alternative rock band from Manchester, England that formed in 1988. Formed byprevious members of the underground punk band Pariah, and presumably due to the punk association, New Fast AutomaticDaffodils had a noticeablymore artsy and experimental sound than many other bands associated with the then-popularbaggy/madchester style. The group released nine singlesand threeoriginal full albums before disbanding in 1996.
