Midnight Sun was a Danish jazz/prog rock band of the early 1970s. They previously existed as 'Rainbow Band' but upon releasing their self-titled
album they had to change their name as a Canadian band was already registered it. Members: Allan Mortensen (vocals), Niels Bronstad
(keyboards), Peer Frost (guitars), Jens Elbol (bass), Carsten Smedegaard (drums)
The covers for Midnight Sun & Walking Circles were the creation of the famous Roger Dean, who collaborated with many famous prog
bands such as YES, Uriah Heep, ASIA, Earth and Fire, Gracious! and many more.
