Media Youth
Media Youth was an influential Japanese visual kei band. Originally formed in 1990 under the alias of Sweet Death, the group wound up changing its alias to Media Youth by 1992. The group found instant success in the visual underground for their initial blend of fast-paced punk and hard rock, although the group ended up changing its style to a more melodic, mainstream friendly style, which ended up sounding like a mixture of alternative and pop rock.
