She is perhaps best known for her 1990 single, "Zutto", which became the 76th best selling single of that year, and the30th
best selling single of 1991. Her popularity started to decline by the mid 1990's, and by 1998, her 10th studio album, "You're...",
reached number 49, signalling a major decrease for the former pop megastar. Although her popularity isn't nearly what it was
two decades ago, Nagai remains an important figure in the world of JPop, and is one of the most critically acclaimed artists of
her time.
