Margret Kristin Blondal, better known as Magga Stina, is an Icelandic artist. Getting her first break in the late 80s as a member of the cult fusion band Reptile, she later embarked on a solo career following the group's disintegration. In 1998, Magga Stina released her first solo album, "An Album", which had positive reviews, and she then went on to open up for Bjork on her "Homogenic" tour as well as joined the 2000 lineup for the Danish Roskilde Festival. Magga Stina has since released only one other solo album, the 2006 cover album "Magga StÃna Syngur Megas", and has since largely disappeared from the music world.
