Mohandas Dewese (born August 8, 1962), better known as Kool Moe Dee, is an American hip hop emcee, prominent in the
late1970s through the early 1990s. His hard-hitting rap style made him a pioneer to the more grittier side of hip hop, was one of
thefirst rappers to earn a Grammy Award and was also the first rapper to perform at the Grammys.
