Kabuki Rocks is a glam band from Japan that first formed in 1986. Known for their unique image and sound, which combinestraditional Japanese
theater (kabuki) with 80's glam rock, they had massive success in 1990 and 1991, specifically with theirdebut single "O-Edo", which reached number
12 on the Oricon charts, and its success, along with the success of the followingsingle "Niji no Miyako", helped drive their 1990 self-titled debut album
to reach number 16 on the Oricon charts.

and made their recording return in 2005 with the release of "~Wadachi~", which was their first original album release in 12 years. Although they
haven't released anything since 2009, Kabuki Rocks remain active today as a touring band, and remain one of the most memorable bands of the early
