Darrel Johnson, better known as K-Dee, is a rapper from Los Angeles. He got his start in rap in 1985 as a member of the group C.I.A. under the name of Kid Disaster, which also was the first rap group of Ice Cube. Following C.I.A.’s eventual disbandment in 1987, Johnson then released his first solo album in 1994 as K-Dee, “Ass, Gas, or Cash (No One Rides for Free)”, which would end up being his only album to date, although he has made dozens of appearances on other rappers’ albums.
