When sharing a house with singer-songwriters Paul Simon and Al Stewart, he played his songs toSimon, who was so impressed by them he used the money he had recieved from royalties for the album "Wednesday Morning, 3AM"to produce Frank'sonly album. This album is noteworthy not only for the astonishing songs contained within it, but also for the fact that it features the first recording of a young Al Stewart on the song "Yellow Walls", playing 12-string guitar, and for the fact that it was recorded in the remarkably short time of three hours. « hide
