Illegal was a short lived hip-hop duo that formed in 1992, consisting of 14-year old emcees Jamal and Lil Malik. In 1993, the duo released its only album, "The Untold Truth", which had some decent success, arguably due to the fact that one of the singles, "Gutz or Headz", attacked fellow young hip hop duo Kris Kross, who were experiencing significant fame at this point. In 1995, after only three years of activity, Illegal decided to disband.
