A true pioneer of hip hop, not only was he the first
rapper to use the word ''nigga'' in a rap, he has also
defined gangsta rap. Hisearlier workmixed political
messages often to do with racism and drugs, as
well as ''gangsta'' raps depicting crime and
sexualdesires. His later work,however, follows a
more direct ''gangsta'' style. Sometimes accused of
selling out for using rock music.He is admired and
respected by fans ofgangsta, political and old
school hip hop for his work.
