In 1995, Infinite left to start a successful solo career, leaving Ghetto Concept as a duo of Kwajo Cinqo and Dolo. In 1998, after 9 years of struggling, Ghetto Concept finally got their first break when they released their first album, which was self-titled, to strong success. They would continue to thrive as one of the most successful groups in Canadian hip hop history up until 2004 when their manager, Elliott Reid-Thomas, was murdered. This led to Ghetto Concept's abrupt disbandment, although they have reunited a few times since, most notably being in 2011 as a part of the prestigious CBC Hip Hop Summit event, which featured some of the most iconic names in Canadian hip hop history. « hide
