Officially formed in 1992 and after replacing a departed band member, Everclear (Art, Craig and Greg) pieced together to perform grunge and in-
your-face punk rock; following their many influences and norms of the time, such as Nirvana and the Counting Crows. After a relocation from Los
Angeles to San Francisco, this three-piece melodic grunge band was noticed by a major label at a local concert who were eventually out-bid by
Capitol Records for Everclear's services. Soon after, they released Sparkle and Fade; an album which set many standards for the new-age punk
and grunge artists of the time. And as the popular saying goes, the rest is history.
