Cultish Detroit rapper primarily known for calling himself The Black Devil and "Esham The Unholy", rapping out of a coffin, and
stirring up Satanic rumors. By the late 1990's, Esham dropped the Satanic persona and took on a more street rap-oriented style,
and then sparked a fiery rivalry with Eminem and his rap group, D12. In 2002, he signed with InsaneClown Posse's
Psychopathic Records, but eventually he left the label by 2006, and went back to being a sheer independent emcee.
