Dead Ends was an influential underground punk band from the Philippines that first formed in 1984. Along with Wuds and Philippine Violators, Dead
Ends are usually regarded as one of the first breakthrough punk bands in Filipino rock music. The group ended up going on a mysterious hiatus in
1990, but returned in 1994, and in 1995 released "Mamatay Sa Ingay", which was their first original release in several years. The album had strong

death of bassist Jay Dimalanta, who was the half brother of Dead Ends vocalist Al Dimalanta. After a brief hiatus, Al returned to the Filipino punk
