Cosmic Slop Shop was a short lived hip hop trio from Oakland, California. Active from 1996 through 1999, it consisted of Rick Rock, Big Lurch and Doonie Baby, and the group released only one album in 1998, "Da Family", before disbanding months afterwards. Big Lurch would go on to acquire a good deal of infamy regarding a brutal murder under the influence of PCP, for which he is serving a life sentence for. Rick Rock would go on to notably form another hip hop group, The Federation, which was active from late 1999 through 2009.
