BaBe were a short lived Japanese idol pop duo, active from 1987 until 1990. Although they were only active for three years,most
of their singles managed to break the Oricon top 10. The duo are probably best known for their track, "Give Me Up",
which,ironically, was not only a cover song (the original done by Michael Fortunati), but it later became their signature song.
