B.B. Queens are a Japanese pop group that formed in 1989. They are best known for their 1990 song "Odoru Pompokolin", which
served as the closing theme for the hit anime series, Chibi Maruko-chan. The single topped the charts, stayed on the Oricon
charts for a total of 54 weeks, and managed to sell a million copies. The group also provided music for the Sega company,
releasing a compilation of their Sega songs in 1992. As sales started to plummet, the group decided to split in 1993. In 2011,
however, after nearly 20 years of separation, the group reunited, and released two singles in 2012.
