Akiakane were an all-female punk band from Japan. Formed in 2003 by frontwoman Moe after the split of her first group,
Softball, the group soon found success in the indies punk scene, and played overseas numerous times as well. However, despite
the group's success, they seem to have been on a hiatus since 2009.
