APO Hiking Society were a long-lasting and influential band from the Philippines that formed in 1969. Due to the longevity
andtremendous influence of the group, they are often referred to as the "Beatles of the Philippines". The group split in 2010,
afterover four decades as a band, due to, as the band called it, a "diminishing creative process". The influence of the group
remainslegendary and untarnished.
