2 Live Crew is a hip hop group from Miami, Florida. They caused considerable controversy with the sexual themes in their work,
particularly on their 1989 album "As Nasty As They Wanna Be". The controversy caused the album to soon go platinum,
becoming the first Southern hip hop album to do so. Unfortunately, dying success and internal troubles caused 2 Live Crew to
fold for good in 1998, although they are known to have reunion shows every few years.
