The United States of America were founded in 1967 in New York by avant-garde musician Joseph Byrd. The band wasn't to last long - after only one self-titled album and an unfinished tour they broke up, mainly because of the lack of success.Until now, the band has remained unknown, though the music is everything but reserved.
