Born in 1987, in Armenia, Tigran Hamasyan is a jazz pianist whose music is highly influenced by Armenian folk music, well-known pianists like Chick Corea and Keith Jarrett, rock and progressive music. Hamasyan has won many awards, and is considered by many as an important act in the new generation of jazz pianists.
