Carnival in Coal was a cult avant-garde metal band from France. Formed in 1995, Carnival in Coal would go on to become one of the most infamous names in the underground metal scene for their ambitious blend of black metal, death metal, grindcore, new wave and sheer avant-garde. In 2007, Carnival in Coal announced its official disbandment.
